Parmish Verma knew exactly where he wanted his life to go when he decided to quit his work in Australia. He knew the dreams were outside of his comfort zone, but it was still a major decision for him because he obtained his PR in Australia and is now well-established there. So, in search of his goal, he returned to his native Punjab.
He originally traveled to Mumbai, the home of Bollywood, to begin his performing and directing career. In less than six months, he became well-known and landed a leading part in a TV series. However, he later turned down the position, stating that his true desire was to express his creativity, not to have a comfortable two years as an actor in a serial. He returned to Punjab to work there and for the Punjabi people.
The first video he directed was called “Zimmewari Bhukh Te Doori – Story of an Adolescent Migrant.” This story was written by him, and it was motivated by his problems. The Punjabi people gave him a lot of great remarks for the short video, which went viral. Numerous Punjabi musicians shared this video.
Subsequently, he was approached by numerous video song projects, but none of them were mainstream enough to earn him the requisite reputation. His father, Dr. Satish Verma, is an instructor at Punjabi University Patiala. In addition, he is a well-known Punjabi poet, author, and theatrical actor. His younger brother, Sukhan Verma, works as an assistant director at Punjabi University Patiala, alongside his mother, Dr. Paramjit Kaur, a Punjabi language instructor.
