Gur Sidhu: From Humble Beginnings to Chart-Topping Hits

Gursimran Singh Sidhu is also well-known as Gur Sidhu. He is an Indian citizen, having been born in Bathinda, Punjab, India, on July 11, 1997. Gursimran graduated with honors from Punjabi University in Patiala with a degree in English. Sidhu was born in Bathinda, Punjab. After graduating, Sidhu moved to Canada, where he was signed to the Brown Town Music label by record executive Nav Sandhu. On May 8, 2019, his debut single, “Moved On,” was released. September 2019 saw the release of his second single, “8 Parche,” featuring Baani Sandhu, under the White Hill Music label. He co-wrote the song “Pyar Bolda” with Jassa Dhillon, and it was made available in October 2019. His major break came when the song “Bro Oye” was released by White Hill Music. In the same year, he wrote, sang, and composed “Challa” for the Punjabi feature film Ardab Mutiyaran, starring Ninja and Sonam Bajwa.

Sidhu wrote several songs, including “Subaah Jatt Da” (performed by Amrit Maan), “Taare” (sung by Sidhu Moose Wala), and “Regret” (performed by R Nait). In 2020, he released “Sham Da Laara” and “Fragrance”.

In the year 2021, Sidhu’s debut album “Nothing Like Before” was released. The entire album turned out to be successful, especially the songs Taakre, Dekhi Jau, Ashke Ashke, Cherry Cheeks, Dila Ve, Goli, and others.

In 2022, the UK Asian Music Chart and the YouTube Weekly Charts featured his song “Bamb Aagya,” which featured Jasmine Sandlas.
