Film career

In the Punjabi-language movie Mel Karade Rabba (2010), Grewal made his screen debut in a supporting role. The biggest hit in Punjabi film history upon its debut, Jihne Mera Dil Luteya, starred him in the lead role after that. When Mirza – The Untold Story, his film, opened in April 2012, it had the biggest opening of any Punjabi movie to that point.
